Alexa Chung has been talking designing her own line for some time now. Since 2012, to be specific.

We have no doubts that it will be worth the wait considering her collaborations with Madewell, Eyeko, and that she’s fronted campaigns for Longchamp, Mage, and Superga.

“I need some time to think about it,” Chung told British Vogue of her line. “That’s [2014] going to be the first opportunity where I haven’t had a nine-to-five job… I’ve kind of been doing Eyeko, I wrote a book, I did Fuse every day, and various other design gigs and DJing. So this will be the first time to actually sit down and think about it.”

We can’t wait to see what the woman who spurred her own Mulberry bag comes up with! We’re hoping for strong menswear influences, but that’s just us.
