The faces you can expect to greet you at your newsstand, January edition, part deux:
Katy Perry endured a tough year in the public eye, thanks to her divorce from comedian Russell Brand, but the 29-year-old is bouncing back better than ever with little self-love time. “I took a break from my boyfriend, not one that I wanted,” Marie Claire’s January cover girl told the glossy. “It was like a splash of cold water to search inward on what was going on with me. This is what lead me to this new awakening, this realizing, if I don’t do some self-love, I’m not going to be able to keep the love that I want.”
On the heels of her eighth album release, 32-year-old Britney Spears looks stronger than ever on the cover of InStyle magazine’s January cover. Inside the glossy, she candidly answers questions from her fans about her life and her hopes for the future. “I would like to be busy the first couple of years, but then I would really like to have another baby, a girl,” the mother-of-two said. “I think she would be like a mini-me. I think it’s going to be crazy. I’m not going to feel as alone in the world anymore. I’m going to feel like I have a second person, like, that’s me.”
Newly-engaged Lauren Conrad is on the cover the January issue of Cosmopolitan, and inside talks about how she came to love her body. “I’m so jealous of people who completely love their bodies,” LC told Cosmo. “I used to hate my legs, but now I always wear minis. It was an accident. In an effort to look taller, I started wearing really high heels with shorter skirts and ended up showing off my legs a lot.”
