Fashion Flies Higher Than Weather

Bring it on elements of the season; we’re rain ready and bound to look awesome. Inspired by A Lacey Perspective’s adorable Post-Sandy Date Night outfit, we began thinking about all the ways to stay dry and look cute this fall and winter. Rocking a silky floral dress with hardy Hunter rain boots is a genius pairing of two styles that, on first glance, don’t seem to go together. The cable knit white sweater is a nice cold weather touch and we love the girly accessories, from the chic hat to the gold bangles. The outfit reminds us that just because the weather has taken a gloomy turn, or fashion sense doesn’t have to.

While we’re huge fans of  Hunter wellies in general, we are especially loving the forest green pair Lacey is rocking in her images. Hunter even came out with the same ones in collapsible form for easy packing and storing. For other rain ready footwear to try, check out She Finds’ round-up of 8 pairs of super cute and super waterproof boots that you’ll want to wear even when the sun is shining.

Amidst all the fashion fun, don’t forget to pack your umbrella. Lacey’s bubble design is a good choice, as it provides maximum coverage from the rain and won’t flip up and fly away when the wind acts up. We’ve all been there, am I right? If you’re going to be on your bike, this hands free umbrella is worth checking out. Yes, it’s a bit silly, but can it get any more practical?
