Now that they’re gallivanting through Europe together following the end of the tour, we’ve got a close eye on them. Editor's Pick: Keep Collective Customizable Bracelet

By  September 17, 2014

Discover your next obsession with our Editor’s Pick series, must-have products for your home, wardrobe, makeup bag, and office curated by Glam editors. keep collective Amidst the Fashion Week madness, editors and other attendees find a bit of pampering and some much needed peace thanks to the slew of style stops set up around the city. I made sure to use a break between runway shows to visit the New York Fashion Week Lounge at the Empire Hotel where I got to recharge my struggling cell phone via the handful of Happy Plugs provided, create a Bite Beauty lipstick at the brand’s mobile lip station, and, being the bling obsessed glam girl I am, create my very own unique KEEP Collective bracelet–an accessory I’ll be sporting before anyone else!

It’s not an exclusive sort of thing or anything; KEEP Collective just hasn’t officially launched yet. As of January 2015, though, the line will be sold through independent KEEP Representatives at social trunk shows as well as online at www.keep-collective.com … you know, Stella & Dot style. That’s KEEP Collective’s mother brand, actually. Embracing the motto “Life Celebrated,” the KEEP Collective staff encouraged me to express my individuality and one of a kind story through the creation of my customized wrap bracelet. From the leather, metal, and mesh bands, I chose gold mesh and then added a square touchstone as the centerpiece, detailed with a series of different bars on both sides. Becca Tobin, Danielle Brooks, and Tinsley Mortimer stopped by too to design their own personalized bracelet. I wonder what details they each chose to decorate with?

5 Wardrobe Essentials That Make Practical Pretty

By  September 16, 2014

The essential white tee
There’s no style a plain white T-shirt can’t work with. Wear a classic crewneck with jeans for a laid-back look, a skirt for something effortlessly cool—layer it up under knits in the winter, and pair it with cutoffs in the summer. We love this ultra-soft and sustainable organic cotton top by John Patrick.

The Perfect Pair of Go-To Jeans
Comfort doesn’t have to sacrifice style, which is why when we’re looking to rock  a practical but pretty look, we skip the workout gear and go with pull-on legging jeans—our go-to pair from Levi’s®, to be exact. The shape-hugging Perfectly Slimming Pull On Legging offers a tummy-smoothing panel and skinny silhouette from waist to ankle for a sleek, refined look that’s both fashionable and functional. Dress them down for the daytime, and transfer them into evening with heels—this is one pair of pants you won’t be eager to pull off by midday.

The slip-on sneaker
Cute and convenient, slip-on sneakers are hot right now. Sometimes we just get tired of heels, laces, zips, and ties—that’s fair enough, right? We can still look fabulously feminine, though. We love the luxe leather look of these pretty metallic ones by Vans.

The style-with-anything sweater
Every girl needs a comfortable but chic cardigan (in a rich neutral like heather gray, camel, or black) that acts as her go-to when adding an extra layer to any look. It’s a practical way to cover up, and you can’t go wrong when styling with this classic piece either. This relaxed-fit cashmere cardigan by Equipment is a beautiful and versatile investment piece you won’t grow tired of.
