Every day, we bring you celebrity sightings and stylings as seen everywhere from the streets to the red carpet. Whether they’re dolled up or dressed down, we can’t resist the need to know who wore what.

There was nothing but good-looking people at the America’s Next Top Model Cycle 21 Premiere Party on Tuesday evening. Presented by NYLON and LINE (the world’s fastest growing messaging app) at SupperClub Los Angeles, celebrities and models alike turned out for the fashionable bash. The illustrious Tyra Banks was, of course, in attendance wearing a chic black jumpsuit, hot orange lipstick and slicked back hair. Oh, and she obviously smized the whole night long.

Something about the ear jacket trend always eluded me. A tad too edgy for my taste, the standard studs and spikes never seemed to fit with my aesthetic. But then something surprising happened, I found myself gravitating toward a pair that felt very me. My friend Melissa Lovy designed a collection of statement stunners that felt both deco and delicate. And these are just the earrings I need to enhance my fashion week wardrobe. The combination of adventurine and onyx fits right in with fall’s classic color palette. -Nola Weinstein

Style Scoop: Kate Moss’ Breast Project Yet, Models Take On The Ice Bucket Challenge, Anna Wintour’s Clothing Allowance is How Much?!

By  August 21, 2014

StyleScoopAug2In case you were hoping to drink champagne from a glass that’s the shape of Kate Moss’ left breast, that time has come. If you think that’s incredibly random and a little strange, you’re not alone. To celebrate the supermodel’s 25 years working in the fashion industry, Mayfair restaurant 34 has modeled a champagne coupe on Moss’ left breast. The “creation” launches in October at 34 and its sister restaurants, The Ivy, Daphne’s and Scott’s in London. [Vogue UK]

Don’t be fooled into thinking that the fashion set is too fancy to dump ice water on their heads. Once Anna Wintour got in on the ALS Ice Bucket challenge action, we knew it really took hold. Other untouchable fashion folk that participated include Karlie Kloss, Alessandra Ambrosio, Behati Prinsloo, Jourdan Dunn, Gigi Hadid, Sara Sampaio, Kate Upton, Suki Waterhouse, Lily Aldridge and Barbara Palvin. [Fashion Gone Rogue]

Today, we learned a few things about Vogue, the fashion bible. T Magazine focused their “By the Numbers” feature on the glossy this time around, and discovered some pretty staggering facts. The one that really got us was the fact that Anna Wintour is allotted $200,000 to spend on her wardrobe, but there are more where that came from. [Glam Chic]

Wearable tech has come, but not gone, despite what you might have thought. A new startup is rearing its head just in time to help us get through Fashion Week. Q Designs is launching pre-orders for its first product, a sleek bracelet that conceals enough rechargeable lithium-ion battery to give your phone a 60 percent charge. Jewelry and a charged phone: get at us, Fashion Week. [Fashionista]

Sarah Jessica Parker’s second collection of shoes is hitting Nordstrom. The collection will, again, be exclusive to the department store, and features autumnal tones and fall-appropriate styles. There are handbags, too, which hit an under-$500 price point. [Fashionista]

6 Things We Learned About Vogue

By  August 21, 2014

BytheNumbersVogueT Magazine’s latest “By the Numbers” feature shines a light on the fashion bible: Vogue. It’s about time, if you ask us, since it’s kind of what makes the fashion world go round. And despite how much we talk about Anna Wintour and the empire that is Vogue, there were some things we were surprised to learn.

  1. Wintour loves Amber Valletta. The actress has appeared on the cover 17 times since Anna Wintour has been editor-in-chief. Before Wintour, Diana Vreeland favored Brigitte Bauer and Jean Shrimpton, who each covered the magazine 19 times.
  2. In Wintour’s first five years as editor in chief, 13% of covers featured celebrities; over the last five years, 93% of covers featured celebrities.
  3. Vogue’s longest reigning editor in chief, Edna Woolman Chase, served 37 years.
  4. There’s only been one hashtag ever printed on the magazine: #worldsmosttalkedaboutcover in April 2014. Sigh.
  5. The glossy, while high fashion, is no stranger to the wilderness. Vogue has featured 19 exotic animals in fashion spreads alongside famous faces, including a cheetah (with Kim Basinger), an elephant (with Keira Knightley), a skunk (with Reese Witherspoon), a gibbon (with Marisa Berenson) and a python (with Nastassja Kinski).
  6. It’s rumored that Wintour has a $200,000 clothing allowance. Bring on the Prada.

Madonna’s Goods Go Up For Grabs

By  August 21, 2014

MadonnaauctionCome November 7, all of your Material Girl dreams can come true. Dig deep into those wallets, Madonna fans, because the largest collection of Madge memorabilia is about to be auctioned off, Page Six reports. Everything from prints of nudes shot by Bill Stone from 1979 to “the latex mask, waspie, gloves, bra and panties worn with Katy Perry for a 2014 V magazine cover photoshoot.”

While nothing that’s part of the auction is currently in Madonna’s possession, all items have, at some point, been worn or touched by her. If you’re a die-hard fan, prepare to shell out thousands upon thousands for any one part of the collection. After all, the woman is worth $1 billion, so a pair of her worn panties for approximately $1,000 is pretty much a steal.

SinCitypostEvery day, we bring you celebrity sightings and stylings as seen everywhere from the streets to the red carpet. Whether they’re dolled up or dressed down, we can’t resist the need to know who wore what.

Sin City: A Dame To Kill hits theaters on August 22, and at the Los Angeles premiere of the film, the movie’s four main dames were certainly out to kill the fashion game. This adaptation of Frank Miller’s graphic novels brings together some pretty incredible talent: Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Rosario Dawson and Jamie King are just a few actors involved in the crime-thriller (Lady Gaga also makes an appearance!). And, as you might have guessed, we were pretty blown away by what they bright to the red carpet on Tuesday evening.

Editor's Pick: Maya Brenner's Maryland Necklace

By  August 20, 2014

Three years ago, I stumbled across Maya Brenner‘s initial necklaces and immediately Tweeted about my love and desire for a “B” version of my very own. For my birthday that year, my boyfriend at the time surprised me with that exact necklace. I know, swoon. True story, I’ve worn it every day since, through workouts, beach vacations, and even hiking across the Inca Trail. So when Brenner came out with state necklaces, I knew I needed to add one to my Maya Brenner accessories collection.

Even though I’ve lived in New York since I packed up my bags and moved to the city for college at 18, I’ll always be a Baltimore girl at heart. That’s why there was no question when it came time to pick a pendant; without question I chose the MD charm instead of the NY one. Despite the fact that I pay rent in the Big Apple and adore my city, I can’t let go of my Maryland license, I always have Old Bay on my desk, obsessively wear Under Armour, and I regularly use my Brewar’s Art goblet as a water glass at home. Keeping my appreciation for #MDLivin close to my heart with Brenner’s state necklace is just another way to show my love for Bmore. - Bianca Posterli

Anna Wintour Just Did The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

By  August 20, 2014

When Bee Shaffer challenged her mother, Anna Wintour, to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, we couldn’t imagine how she’d handle it. But to our surprise, the Vogue editor-in-chief handled it gracefully and jovially, alongside seven members of her family. She has everyone positioned in a way that makes it look like she’s sitting front row at a fashion show, legs crossed and all (she just can’t help herself can she?)—only this one involves a bucket of ice water. Next up: Roger Federer and Dominic West. Watch as Wintour, her trademark sundress, unmistakable sunnies and signature bob get drenched with ice-cold water, resulting in a Vogue editor-in-chief like we’ve never seen before.
