While you were busy getting your life from #PapaPope’s read of Fitz or #MamaPope’s grand finale (white coat and all), Beyoncé was readying a riot with the release of a self-titled, visual album featuring 14 songs and 17 accompanying videos. Of the sonic-visual feast she granted us with, minutes after midnight, our sartorial selves are especially drawn to “Yoncé,” a Ricky Saiz-directed clip featuring a triumvirate of top models: Joan Smalls, Jourdan Dunn, and Chanel Iman.
Clad in a $1,650 3.1 Phillip Lim leather-meets-leopard moto jacket, Queen Bey of the Third Ward is joined by the titillating trio, who lip sync her tease, “Tell me how it’s looking babe,” with gold and diamond-encrusted grills in plain sight. Smalls, Dunn, and Iman slink in Christian Grey-approved lingerie and swimwear—seemingly Hervé Léger—while Beyoncé, ever the eye-candy, flashes her infamous curves in lacy pants, a red-hot one piece, and cheeky cut-off shirts. This, mind you, all happens in 2 minutes, 30 seconds of which you can preview below.
Beyoncé, the fifth studio effort that the Beyhive never saw coming, is now available on iTunes for $15.99.

THE PARTY: Brooks Brothers transformed their flagship store in San Francisco into a Winter Wonderland, hosting a holiday celebration to benefit St. Jude’s Research Hospital.
THE PLACE: The four-story Brooks Brothers flagship store in Union Square, located at 240 Post St.
THE DEETS: The festive fete, which includedModern Family’s Jesse Tyler Ferguson and husband Justin Mikita, actress Abigail Spencer, actors Josh Pence and Colton Haynes, and San Francisco’s Joy Venturini Bianchi and Hilary Newsom, hosted a very stylish family affair December 10th in the name of St. Jude Hospital. Guests were encouraged to enjoy the fun with a photo with Santa or ornament decorating as DJ Oscar Adler, the thirteen year-old son of famed music producer Lou Adler, kept the celebratory mood alive with top tunes. Amidst the cocoa and cookies, guests shopped Brooks Brothers’ winter 2013 collection; embellished pieces for women and mixed plaids for men provided the perfect backdrop for the holiday party. Best of all, 10% of the evening’s sales were donated to the charitable organization.
Furthering their mission to produce sustainable fashion, H&M is launching two new collections: Conscious and Conscious Exclusive. Each collection contains key fashion pieces made from sustainable materials, like organic cotton, Tencel, hemp and recycled materials.
“I’m very excited to work with H&M Conscious campaign, because we share the same values about sustainability,” said supermodel Amber Valletta, the star of both campaigns. “This collection shows that you can be as mindful about people and the environment as fashion conscious. I simply love the designs and the fact that all the pieces are made from organic, recycled and cellulose fabrics shows that you don’t need to compromise fashion for sustainability anymore.”
H&M partnered with sustainable fashion and design company Ever Manifesto on the Conscious Exclusive line—a dramatic mix of flamenco and bohemia.
“It’s great to engage with a brand like H&M that’s already aiming to lead the industry in making sustainable fashion mainstream, especially with such an elaborate and innovative collection,” Elizabeth von Guttmann and Alexia Niedzielski of Ever Manifesto said in a press release. “To be able to support their Conscious teams and to implement and inspire positive change is a really exciting experience.”
Both collections will be available online and in stores. And from the look that Amber is wearing, sustainable fashion never looked so good!
The Hollywood Reporter’s 2013 Women in Entertainment Breakfast took place on December 11th at the Beverly Hills Hotel, bringing together some of the industry’s biggest and boldest names to honor Oprah Winfrey with the Sherry Lansing Leadership award.
Reality TV titans Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian (and Kanye West!), and Khloe Kardashian-Odom were in attendance—and it should be noted, Khloe looked really good! It isn’t a secret that the statuesque beauty endured a hard time in the press as of late due to her estrangement and possibly impeding divorce from husband, Lamar Odom.
Despite TMZ’s reports that Khloe has taken off her ring after seeing the video of Odom, possibly under the influence of something, rapping about cheating on Robert Kardashian’s youngest daughter, she emerged at the Beverly Hills Hotel looking radiant in an A.L.C Tolan Dress. The white dress had long sleeves and a draped skirt, which she paired with white pumps and a studded white clutch.
… and not in the manner that you’ve become accustomed to. We aren’t talking shoes here, people.
Giuseppe Zanotti is the latest brand up for sale. The Italian footwear house’s owner, Vincini SpA, is in talks with an investment bank in order to “examine strategic options that may lead to a sale in 2014,” Bloomberg reported. Women’s Wear Daily is reporting that LVMH is also a possible buyer, which makes sense considering their acquisition, Nicolas Kirkwood.
Adding another shoe brand wouldn’t be a bad investment, especially one worth $412 million that’s loved by fashion’s bold faced names and celebrities like Thakoon, Proenza Schouler and Balmain.
Oh, and then there’s the collaboration with Kanye West—which may never happen again if Zanotti is sold to LVMH and the rapper continues to bad mouth their crown jewel, Louis Vuitton.
‘Tis the season to indulge in cookies, craft your Christmas list and check it twice, and snuggle around the fire with your nearest and dearest. It’s also the season to bounce around from party to party as you make sure to fit in each and every holiday event in your social calendar. Budget may not allow for a new dress for every engagement, however a little sparkle can go a long way when it comes to dressing up your look this season.
Opt for a classic little black dress and layer away. Wear your LBD with a fur vest one night, dress it up with a sparkly blazer for another fete, or dress it down with a flannel button down overtop for a more casual event. But don’t forget to add a touch of shimmer in the form of bling. You’ll be just as decorative as the tree.
Riccardo Tisci took a different route with his Spring 2014 campaign for Givenchy. He’s spreading this season a mix of individuals – eclectic singer Erykah Badu, models Maria Borges, Eboni Riley and Asia Chow—all women of color, the first of its kind.
“Erykah, she’s an icon—come on! What I want to do with my advertising campaign is spread the love. Already now it’s been three seasons that I’ve been using people that express something… It’s kind of a family portfolio.”
And, we already know that there isn’t much he won’t do for those he considers his family…
“There was a lot of talk this season in fashion [about designers not promoting diversity],” Kanye West’s BFF exclusively told Style.com. “I was one who ended up not being touched by this. I discovered Joan Smalls, I discovered Maria [Borgas]. I’ve always been supporting them. For me, I grew up in a family and I grew up in a culture, an education, that we are all the same.”
It must be said, it’s a sad day when reporting diversity is news but good for Tisci! We can’t wait to see the rest of the images from the campaign.
We’re feeling for the ladies and gents who have Lady Gaga on their gift list this holiday season. What do you give the woman that sported a dress made of meat on the red carpet, spends her days off in 10-inch platforms, and plays dress-up in a wardrobe full of avant garde garb on a daily basis? For the mystifying Mother Monster, or ladies looking to sport her unconventional look, we’ve rounded up some pieces from her favorite brands as well as the styles she loves to show-off. As the latest face of Versace, her stocking wouldn’t be complete without a treat or two from the iconic brand she represents. It wasn’t hard to find something from their latest collection that would work for her as Donatella Versace‘s sexy and striking style aesthetic is nearly a perfect fit for Gaga. To accessorize, she can use the polka-dot teacup and saucer we’ve chosen for her. “I used to have tea at home with my mother every day, you see,” Lady Gaga told the UK Sun in 2009 of her reasoning for carrying the offbeat piece around. We’ve also included a pair of pumps from Noritaka Tatehana, the Japanese shoe designer responsible for the obscure wedge booties the “Applause” singer is loyal to, as well as some crazy sunglasses from her beloved A-Morir and Jeremy Scott. After all, is the Lady ever spotted without a new pair of statement shades?
