Fendi Taps Gwenyth Paltrow and Cara Delevingne To Design For Peekaboo Project

FendiCharityWe love it when fashion and fundraising coincide—throw Fendi into the mix, and the results are a dream. To mark the opening of its three-story London flagship store, the Italian fashion house launched the Peekaboo Project, in which it will auction off 10 one-of-a-kind Peekaboo bags, each designed in collaboration with a famous woman. The auction will benefit Kids Company, a charity that aims to help victims of child abuse. For this collection, Gwenyth Paltrow, Adele, Cara Delevingne and Georgia May Jagger tried their hands at crafting Peekaboo perfection.

Each celebrity’s bag captures her own personality: Adele went feminine with pink and faux lashes, Delevingne chose to be playful (and maybe a little bit ironic) with a Superwoman-inspired “S”, Jagger got crafty by featuring her own photograph underneath a layer of sequins and Paltrow kept it simple with white croc leather. The auction will be open through the end of the month, but you’ll have to shell out at least £15,000—$25,341, that is—to get ahold of one of these masterpieces.
