She might be known for her affordable makeup and awesome brushes, but Sonia Kashuk is making her way from beauty to bath. We caught wind of the new line, which will be sold at Target, this past summer and now we’re counting down the days until it actually launches. On November 10th, expect to see a very flowery display of bath and body products, which range in price from $4.99 to $19.99, at Target stores. But even before that, expect to see a pop-up shop in Grand Central Terminal on November 4th – when you spot the installation showcasing a model in a bathtub filled with bubbles, remember that you read it here first.
Target’s vice president of beauty and personal care, Christina Hennington, told WWD, “We saw an opportunity for a quality fragrance-based bath and body line in our channel. The white space is the complexity [of the fragrances], the sensorial feel, that’s what we felt was missing from our class of trade especially at this price point.” The line includes everything you need from cream body wash to product organizers in a range of inspired scents. Kashuk worked with Jerome Epinette of Robertet to create the four fragrances: Pink Innocencia, Purple Seductia, Yellow Alluriana and Red Promisia. “I was basically staying away from cucumber melon – that was the ongoing internal joke,” said Kashuk. And since we have zero clue as to what these scents might smell like, we’ll be at Target on November 10th ready to do some shower overhaul.
