If you’re a regular around corals + cognacs, you know how excited I was to shop the 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target collection. I was lucky enough to snag my favorite piece — this leopard-print blazer — at a launch even during Fashion Week, and it’s been in constant closet rotation ever since.
Not that I needed to justify this purchase (it’s freakin’ Phillip Lim for Target!), but when it comes to a blazer, you can never have too many options — from date night to Sunday Funday, the bar and the boardroom. That said, here’s four ways I’m styling my Phillip Lim for Target blazer:
Contemporary: A pretty leopard print looks fresh with just about any outfit – especially so when it’s peaking out from under a trench. The bold foundation of cobalt ties the look together. Trés chic!
Casual: Here’s a no-fail way to make your summer separates work during the fall. A color-blocked print drastically dresses up a t-shirt and denim — instantly transforming any outfit.
Corporate: The oldest trick in the working girl’s book: Take almost any black- or cream-colored dress from your closet, add a blazer and *poof,* you’re office-appropriate. But who says that blazer can’t be breezy, cool and totally modern? Finally – workwear that screams style!
Last but not least, you can wear it the corals way: I tend to coordinate my statement separates and my shoes. Can you blame me? This is — and will continue to be — one of my favorite weekend looks.
