Front Row Reality at Rebecca Minkoff

Given the overwhelming amount of familiar faces that made their way to the designer’s Spring/Summer 2014 show, it looks like Rebecca Minkoff  has quite an enviable entourage.

We’ll call them Minkoff girls, and they’re a shining posse. A chic Jamie Chung snapped a selfie with front row seat-mate Olivia Palermo, who kept her dark shades on for the show. Next to the stylish duo sat Louise Roe, Bella Thorne, and Zosia Mamet. And upon taking a look down from the group, Glam continued to play who’s who, spotting Nasim Pedrad, Nate Berkus, Bryan Boy, and Mia Moretti.

Kelly Osbourne eventually took a seat in the celeb circle after completing her Rebecca Minkoff Spring show live stream duties. Despite a minor freak out into her ear piece as the crowds were being seated, exclaiming, “This is f*****g ridiculous,” before being reassured by her crew, Osbourne seemed to be in a much less irritated mood once the lights dimmed and the clothing captured the audience. Roe swooned over shoes. “It was beautiful beautiful I want those boots,” she shared with us. “Stunning.”

As Lindsey Wixson strutted her stuff as the leader of Minkoff’s model pack, Janelle Monae killed it on the vocal front, playing upbeat tunes from her upcoming album, “The Electric Lady,” for the excited crowd. Monae joins an edgy list of celebrity singers who have performed in Minkoff’s runway shows, Theophilus LondonDJ Cassidy and Tennis–and she couldn’t have kept the crowd and catwalk more on point. Celebrity approved and fun-filled too? This was definitely a show done right by us.
