Get The Look: Downton Abbey Style

By  January 07, 2013

Season 3 of our beloved period drama, Downton Abbey, is back, and in honor we’re looking to the Edwardian era for fashion inspiration. Though the Grantham family may be broke, you don’t have to have aristocratic wealth to look like Mary, Cora and the rest of the estate’s ladies. From boots and an equestrian style coat for the next fox hunt to a romantic silk dress with pearl accessories for the servants’ ball, the looks of Britain’s 1920s have infiltrated modern day apparel and are available in abundance this season. Look for cloche style hats, details that include lace and delicate beading, and classically feminine silhouettes to get the look. Here are our favorite Downton approved pieces!
