Ginnifer Goodwin Channels Siouxsie and the Banshees at the Met Gala

Once Upon a Time sweetheart Ginnifer Goodwin showed off her inner bad girl when she stepped on the red carpet of the Met Gala in a heavy metal Tory Burch dress. To turn down the shine on the gown, Goodwin opted for a heavy-lidded look courtesy of celebrity makeup artist Mai Quynh. “Ginny loves to play up here eyes and wear fun makeup,” Quynh explained. “She’s never afraid of color or going too bold, and lets me have fun and be daring with her looks.”

Touching on the black leather trim of her dress, Quynh applied Laura Mercier’s Matte Eye Colour in Noir to Goodwin’s lash line, winged it out and connected it to her eyebrow to fill in the shape completely. She layered the Sequin Eye Colour in Black ice over the lid, lashline, and up to the browline, blending the hues together before adding a layer of the Sateen Eye Colour in Seashell Pink using the Finishing Eye Brush on the lid to create a gradient from lashline to brow a la Siouxsie and the Banshees. She then applied individual faux lashes with a few swipes of the Full Blown Volume Lash Building Mascara in Black and rimmed her eye with the Kohl Eye Pencil in Black Violet. Goodwin’s face received a little flush with the help of the Tinted Moisturzier SPF 20 in Nude, a few dots of the Undercover Pot #2, the Crème Cheek Colour in Oleander, and the translucent pressed powder. For added glow, Quynh applied the Second Skin Cheek Colour in Lotus Pink and kept the lips nude with a touch of the Crème Smooth Lip Colour in Angelic.
