‘Girls’ Costume Designer Adds Her Touch to Aerie

By  January 02, 2013

Lena Dunham’s reach of influence is going farther than ever in 2013, thanks to Girls’s costume designer, Jenn Rogien. Aerie has tapped Rogien as a style and fit expert for the brand in order to help the aerie girl shape her story through lingerie. Expect to see the 2012 Style Awards TV Costume Designer of the Year in viral videos, fit sessions, and store appearances where she will share her advice and style tips to reflect the young, honest, and fresh look of the aerie girl while balancing her duties on the HBO hit as well as the upcoming Netflix series Orange is the New Black. Rogien has been a fan of the intimates brand for years and has used pieces for different projects. “I love that aerie is about real girls who are wearing fun undies as a part of their everyday wardrobe, to the point where it becomes a must-have accessory,” she told Women’s Wear Daily. “Those intimates have helped me tell the stories of real girls, pretty girls, fun girls.”
