Who needs a shirt when you’re wearing Weitzman’s on your feet? Not Gisele Bündchen, apparently. The Brazilian model is the face of Stuart Weitzman’s fall advertising campaign, replacing Kate Moss, who has appeared in the brand’s previous two campaigns. Shot in New York by Mario Testino, the campaign pictures Bündchen in a pair of fitted white pants and Stuart Weitzman booties—and it certainly rings a bell. Testino also shot Moss and Russian model Natalia Vodianova for the brand’s campaigns in 2013 and 2012; those, too, have a similar, pared-down approach.
You can count on seeing the lovely Bündchen and her gorgeous Weitzman’s in print in September issues, alongside an outdoor advertising campaign due to hit billboards and kiosks internationally. The 2014 campaign will focus on the footwear brand’s boot offerings, including the popular 5050 style reinvented with a 60s-inspired block heel. And, of course, it features a different face: “[Bündchen] exemplifies the Stuart Weitzman woman with her zest of life, love and family,” said Weitzman. Besides that, the model looks nothing short of flawless, and thus Stuart Weitzman has done it again. As far as we’re concerned, when you’re trading supermodel for supermodel in worldwide ad campaigns, it pretty much means you’ve made it.
