Givenchy-Fall-2014

DESIGNER: Riccardo Tisci

INSPIRATION: “The collection is about celebrating femininity and the rock woman,” said Tisci after the show. “I’ve been doing the kind of young and more street look for so long, and I wanted to experiment with this woman who is feeling more like a woman.”

PALETTE: Earthy, rich tones like brown, grey, tan and cream in bold prints, red, pale green, black, and pale pink.

TRENDS: Powerfully cut suits, oversized pockets, fur, cropped boxy jackets pussy-bow blouses and dresses

WHO WAS THERE: Kendall Jenner made her Paris Fashion Week debut as Rihanna clad in Nike RT sneakers, Tisci’s BFF Kanye West (sans Kim Kardashian), and Beth Ditto watched from the front row.

WHO SHOULD WEAR IT: Women who feel like women, Tisci said it best, and aren’t afraid to show it.
