Glam Gift Guide: What to Get Jay Z and Beyonce

Beyonce-and-Jay-Z-gift-guide

Let me preface this by saying I had this list fully figured out on December 12, 2013. In 2006, Beyoncé enumerated ways to “Upgrade U” with timeless, luxury goods from Hermès and Cartier that Jay Z could certainly appreciate circa now. As for Mr. Carter, well, we know he loves his Picasso, baby. So, devising a gift guide for music’s most powerful couple didn’t seem like a daunting task. Then, December 13, 2013 came, and with it, BEYONCÉ, the visual album. You know, the one we fawned over here, here, here… and here. The game-changing release forced me to rethink my gifting strategy. Gold everything of “Bow Down/I Been On” acclaim? Break out the set of gold Maison Martin Margiela rings—four for her favorite number. Finishing touch for Jay’s suit and tie? Tom Ford loafers to do his Grammys gear justice. Of course, I’ll add in something blue. And, as a bonus, something money can’t buy: me as a Bey-FF.
