After rumors swirled for over a year, Gucci announced that it’s finally coming out with a makeup line this fall!
The line is set to include all the makeup musts, nail necessities, and skincare saviors created with P&G Prestige according to Women’s Wear Daily. Though we might have to search high and low for the new beauty buys, as they’ll only be available in select markets in September.
To celebrate the launch, the brand has tapped Charlotte Casiraghi, fifth in line to the throne of Monaco, as the face of the new beauty venture. With Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot behind the lens, the “striking beauty” will be feature in a print campaign and short film directed by Fabien Baron for the launch. Casiraghi has been close with the brand for years, appearing in a 2012 campaign, and couldn’t wait to work with Frida Giannini once again. “I have really enjoyed my relationship with Frida over these last four years, and I am now excited to work with her again on this signature product,” Casiraghi said of the creative director. “I have great admiration for her both as a designer and a strong and visionary woman.”
If the brand’s lush ads for their scents are any indication, we’re sure to see sultry shades in an opulent atmosphere. We’re already marking our calendars for this one, kittens.
