Halloween Wine and Candy Pairings

Halloween is here. Now that you’ve picked out a creative costume, baked some terrifyingly tasty treats, and prepared to party, it’s time to think about your wine and candy choices. Gummy Candies:

Sometimes you feel like a nut, and Halloween’s a great time to indulge in your peanut candy obsession. Whether covered in chocolate, caramel, or even molasses, the saltiness of the peanut brings out the lushness of a Pinot Noir. The pair will be a big hit at your monster mash.

Collection of Confections:
Can’t pick just one type? No problem! Merlot is the chameleon wine that works well with everything from dark chocolate to Snickers to Twizzlers. Merlot has hints of licorice to give it a dark finish, which is what the haunted holiday is all about.
