Believe it or not, Marc Jacobs turns the big 5-0 today.
In half a decade, the legendary designer has racked up more than a few accomplishments. To name a few, Jacobs has been awarded multiple awards by the CFDA, simultaneously serves as the creative force behind multiple brands including Marc Jacobs, Marc by Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton, earned a position on Time’s list of the Top 100 Most Influential People, and had the CFDA recognize him in 2001 with the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement award.
Given the strides he’s taken both creatively and personally in the past few years—notoriously changing his fashion show from starting epically late to specifically on time, expressing his voice for his beliefs and continuing his strong working relationship with LVMH—Jacobs is set to be a force in the industry for many years to come. We’d say that as much as the designer has already achieved, as much as he’s lived, as many lives as he’s touched, Jacobs is set to expand exponentially.
Oh, and can we look as toned as Jacobs when we’re his age?
