We are certainly hearing Katy Perry “Roar.” Yesterday, the famous pop singer launched her own music label venture, Metamorphosis Music, in collaboration with her current record label, Capitol Records.

The pop star also revealed that her new label has already signed singer-songwriter Ferras Alqaisi. “I am so ECSTATIC to finally announce my NEW label Metamorphosis Music & my first signing, the incredibly talented & soulful FERRAS,” Perry tweeted Tuesday.

Ferras’s EP includes five singles: “Legends Never Die,” featuring Katy Perry, “Speak in Tongues,” “King of Sabotage,” “No Good in Goodnight,” and “Champagne,” all available on iTunes.

The two singers originally met after signing with Capitol Records back in 2007 and now Ferras will join Perry, his new boss, on the North American leg of her Prismatic World Tour to perform their duet, which starts June 22.

Perry certainly has the eye of the tiger this summer: launching her own music label and signing a singer, finishing her Prismatic World Tour, coming out with a new fragrance, and appearing on the July cover of the international edition of Cosmopolitan. Wow, she really must be living the “teenage dream,” of being a superstar.
