“Best in Class” Oscar Fashion

Stars such as Meryl Streep, Emma Stone, Rooney Mara, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Jennifer Lopez were just some of the fashionistas of the night.

Milla Jovovich wore a stunning white Elie Saab gown with complimenting red lipstick and a classic hairdo. Rooney Mara was another star in white. She wore a Givenchy with red lips as well and a good contrast of black hair. Jennifer Lopez chose a neutral toned, sparkling dress that emphasized just the right places. Gwyneth Paltrow also shined as another amazing person in white with a cape like dress by Tom Ford. Although the cape looked a bit too much at first, it was an elegant style. Angelina Jolie, in Versace, showed her slim figure and legs beautifully. Both Michelle Williams and Emma Stone reigned in reds. Michelle wore a Louis Vuitton with a wonderful crepe detailing that elevated the uniqueness of the dress, while Emma chose a Zuhair Murad that looked amazing with her light skin tone.

Natalie Portman also wore a red gown with small polka dot patterns from Dior that looked awesome on her. Newcomer, Shailene Woodley, chose a beautiful gown by Valentino that emphasized her petite figure. The main theme in the gowns were solid neutral, whites, and reds. Colors were a huge part of the Oscars this year and will probably dominate the fashion scene.
