Making six figures as a blogger? That’s small time, says Bryan Grey-Yamboo. “Now, $100,000 is not enough,” the blogger behind the website Bryanboy said. “For a young, upstart blogger, $100,000 might seems like a lot of money. [But] as a business, a legit business, $100,000 won’t really bring you that far. You have a lot of expenses. [Women’s Wear Daily]

New mother Kerry Washington’s return to the red carpet gave her a bit of anxiety. “It’s a little crazy,” Washington said. “Yesterday was like my first time being back in the game and I was nervous. Jonathan Simkhai is updating the way he designs resort collections. “We’re showing these really modern collections and we’re trying to dress a cool girl and ‘resort’ just isn’t current,” he said. “I think of it as, it’s October November December, I’m in the city, I have holiday parties to go to, I have dates I’m going on and I want to look cute, I have work meetings to conquer, and I have fall pieces already, so I just want to update my wardrobe, so it’s a seasonless type of thing.” He calls the collection Transition One. We like his thinking. [Fashionista]

Giorgio Armani is supporting a young photographer, Boo George. The photographer shot his new men’s and women’s Emporio Armani Fall 2014 advertising campaign. The campaign will make its debut in international publications this month and showcases the wintry, cold light in contrast to fluid movements of the clothes stirred by the wind. [Women’s Wear Daily]
