How To Find More “Me” Time Every Day

By  February 16, 2012

Morning Moment

Get up 30 minutes earlier and take advantage of the quiet alone time. Use this extra half hour to do yoga, read a newspaper, watch a little TV, or plan for the busy day ahead. Waking up is hard to do, but the benefits are definitely worth a little sacrificed sleep.

Take a Lunch Hour
Working nonstop won’t necessarily increase your productivity. Sometimes a break can make all the difference.
Take a lunch hour away from your desk. You’ll feel refreshed and ready to tackle all your to-dos.

Make Time for Exercise
In order to be the best mom possible, you should take care of yourself too. And that means making time for physical fitness. Whether you walk to the office, bike around your neighborhood, or hit the gym, working out does wonders for the body, mind, and soul.

Unwind Before Bed
Make bedtime an hour earlier. That way, you can relax in bed with a good book and a warm cup of tea. Some much-needed “me” time before bed will ensure you get a restful night’s sleep.
