I try to make a few backstage appointments to check out the beauty behind the scenes – I cover makeup and nails – and I get out before the madness begins.
Of course that depends on the night! I try not to drink heavily until my last night of NYFW. Then I figure I've earned the right to celebrate and go out with a bang.
I try to never be the last to stay at the party. I'm the one who is likely to leave early, to go back to my hotel room and call my husband, and try to get a few emails answered and a decent night's sleep before the next day.
