Japanese super-retailer Uniqlo is taking their collaborative efforts all around the globe. There was the collection with New Zealand fashion designer Karen Walker, the two with London-based designer Lulu Guinness and now, Uniqlo is bringing us to Paris!
Model, author, and all around French style icon, Ines de la Fressange designed a spring/summer collection to be unveiled in Paris on November 20th, Women’s Wear Daily is reporting, centered around Parisian style, obviously. The collection will be presented in New York and Tokyo, subsequently.
“We talked regularly with Ines and exchanged views on a number of subjects including fabrics, design, and fitting, Uniqlo’s design director Naoki Takizawa told WWD. “Ines’ own lifestyle and approach to fashion closely mirror [Uniqlo’s], and I am very pleased to be launching the new line that we have created together.”
…And we’re excited to wear it. This can only be all good with Lady Gaga’s BFF and former stylist Nicola Formichetti advising the retailer creatively.
