Back in 2009, Domino folded, leaving a hole in the hearts of many. To rectify the situation, Conde Nast created special editions of Domino, which appear twice a year, hardly satiating the interior design desire of many.
Now, it seems the magazine empire is putting extra effort into interiors, and extra attention into Domino. Rumors have it the glossy will return in the form of an e-commerce site, along with with a quarterly print magazine
Project Décor, an e-commerce site, has been brought on to lead the project. Given its experience in the home and online shopping realm, the partnership seems idyllic.
While this hardly makes up for the monthly editions Domino fans are constantly wishing for, it’s a step in the right direction for a return to attention of home design.
