Stop what you’re doing, make sure you’re sitting, and catch your breath. H&M snagged an exciting Parisian designer for its next collaboration - Isabel Marant!

Following partnerships with major fashion influencers including Karl Lagerfeld, Roberto Cavalli, Stella McCartney, Sonia Rykiel and Maison Martin Margiela, the news of Marant’s work with H&M is already garnering an expected high level of fanfare and attention.

“I am flattered by this collaboration. H&M works with the best designers, and this invitation is an exciting honor. I aim at creating something real – something women want to wear in their everyday lives – with a certain carefree style. I think this is very Parisian: You dress up, but don’t pay too much attention to it, and you still look sexy. The collection is infused with this kind of easiness and attitude. Everything can be combined following one’s own instincts, and my take on fashion is all about personality,” said Marant.

On November 14th, her pieces will hit 250 H&M stores and will also be available for purchase online. In addition, this collaboration with H&M will mark Marant’s initial foray into the world of menswear and children’s design. No prices have been named as of yet, but she will create 20 clothing items and five accessories for men, as well as 30 items of clothing and 10 accessories of children ages 10 to 18.

Considering Marant’s ability to create items of clothing adored and revered all over - hell0, sneaker wedges - this collection is sure to sell out in no time. Check out the video below for more details, and the chance to watch Marant with her effortlessly cool French attitude.
