Jean Paul Gaultier has added his designer touch to everything from fragrance to champagne but has shifted his focus to soft drinks with his third design for Coca-Cola Light/Diet Coke. The recently named Creative Director of the brand joins the likes of Karl Lagerfeld, Marni, and Diane Von Furstenberg to give the iconic bottles and cans sexy sartorial makeovers. The cans’ “Day” look incorporates Gaultier’s signature Breton stripes for a light and fun flair, while the “Night” look has a rocking lattice print aligned with his classic corsets. The newest bottle in the series, Tattoo, incorporates his love of body art with snakes, barbed wire, and swirling patterns.
