Once again Jenni Kayne delivered her signature California cool style with plenty left over to spare. The L.A.-based designer, who is pregnant with her second child, was unable to fly out to New York for her own show, but the collection spoke for itself. Bright, beautiful jewel tones in fuchsia and teal served as a reminder that fall doesn’t have to be all about dark, earthy tones. Though her neutrals were beautiful too. The inspiration for the collection was a woodsy weekend out of the city, but this was not your normal log cabin attire. Flowy silk blouses, sleek tailored jackets and marigold mini skirts gave the collection an urban twist. To top it off, each look was punctuated with a bold pink lip and bright velvet loafers—vibrant from head to toe.
