It looks like Woody Harrelson and Liam Hemsworth are starving for the wild, wild west. The Hunger Games co-stars have been tapped for revenge Western By Way of Helena. The film will find the two at odds, Hemsworth as a Texas Ranger investigating a small town’s mysterious serial killings, and Harrelson as its duplicitous town preacher. [The Wrap]

Benedict Cumberbatch is headed back to BBC. His fourth “series” run as title character Sherlock will bow in 2015. Keeping in tradition with the award-winning crime drama’s format, series four will consist of three, 90-minute episodes; this time, though, show runners will include a fourth, special episode that will “take Sherlock and John Watson into deeper and darker water than ever before.” [Variety]

A crowd-funded, independent film takeover with Dear White People isn’t the only think Lena Waithe has to smile about. The satirical writer, producer, and web series creator is taking her talents to BET.
