Jil Sander’s Three Figure Paper Bag

The $300 paper bags carried down the runway at the Jil Sander F/W 2012 Menswear show can’t help but provoke much reflection in the heart of a Glam fashionista. Can she get away with printing “Jil Sander” on the bottom of a lunch bag and calling it the real deal? Does that suddenly make it a chic accessory rather than your average sandwich and juice box holder? And who in the world is paying anything more than a buck for a brown paper bag anyway?
