Though the nail authority has a similar subscription service called The Maven Program, Julep is launching a new iPhone app. Launching May 20th, TechCrunch reports it will allow mani mavens to customize their own monthly boxes with full-sized version of the brand’s nail polish, skincare, and makeup. The original Maven box, curated by the brand, started at $19.99, and it will cost only a few bucks more to DIY your own box at $24.99 for $40 worth of products or $34.99 for $60 worth of beauty swag.
Birchbox has become a discovery tool for beauty buffs, but Julep has opened up lines of communication so fans of the brand can discuss the latest launches. Mavens can offer feedback in a window of five days every month to help the brand tap into new trends through social media, and now with the app, their purchase decisions as well.
Nabbing new manicure supplies on the fly? Well, this is a new way to nail a look!
