To safe sex! That’s the message the gorgeous Solange Knowles was spreading this morning, as part of her new partnership with The Body Shop and MT V. The songstress came out to talk about the new Yes, Yes, Yes Campaign benefiting the Staying Alive Foundation, which provides funding to young people working towards HIV/AIDS protection and awareness. With over 3,000 people under the age of 25 becoming infected with HIV EVERY DAY (I know, I almost fell over when I heard that number), Solange knew she had to do something. “Initially I thought this is a really heavy, scary, topic, but it must be talked about. The numbers aren’t going down, they’re rising,” she said. So what can you do? Besides ALWAYS practicing safe sex (seriously ladies, no excuses) pick up The Body Shop’s new exclusive Tantalizing Lip Butter. The packaging features the Yes Yes Yes logo, and five out of the eight dollars of the purchase price go directly towards the Staying Alive Foundation. And start talking about AIDS prevention!! Let us know what your thoughts are on this super important issue!
