It’s unclear whether Kanye West and Jay Z can get over their rumored feud and deliver on promises for a Watch the Throne part two. Either way, West is reportedly staying busy with another high-profile collaborator… Sir Paul McCartney!
An anonymous source (of course), told the gossip site that West and McCartney are in the studio, and have already recorded “Piss on My Grave.” The tentatively-titled track falls in line with West’s more riotous Yeezus, but is a departure—a bizarre one—for the Beatles alum. Still, said source says their work together could develop into a full-fledged album, so we’re going to roll with it for now.
If a best-of-both-worlds LP doesn’t emerge, we could hear a collab on either’s next solo feat. Both dropped albums last year, and according to West he’s ready to debut new music as soon as September. No word on whether any of these 20 tracks, or a McCartney feature, will make the cut, but we’ll tune in either way.
Until then, there’s always this snippet of new Yeezy, courtesy of his other collaborator, Adidas:
