He’s going, going, back, back, to Paris, Paris. Don’t call it a comeback though, because in his mind, he never left.

Kanye West is making his return to Paris Fashion Week with a new label we hinted at last month. The one made up completely of unisex wares that the Yeezus rapper spent a week in Milan working on the collection with top designers before retreating to be with his daughter’s mother Kim Kardashian after the birth of North.

West is taking a different approach to his eponymous line’s previous two seasons, enlisting the help of Christophe Decarnin as his head designer. The current creative director Olivier Rousteing replaced Decarnin at Balmain in April 2011 after he missed his final collection for the brand, Fall/Winter 2011-12 per doctor’s orders.

No word on whether West was able to snatch up Decarnin through his vigorous LinkedIn talent sourcing or not. But we’re all for second chances—for both West and Decarnin—together.
