Karl Lagerfeld Rumored to Design Keira Knightley’s Wedding Gown

By  May 02, 2013

Keira Knightley has reportedly tapped the Kaiser himself, Karl Lagerfeld, to design a custom bridal gown for her upcoming nuptials to Klaxons keyboardist James Righton.

Given that Keira has served as the face of Madamoiselle for years, as well as recently taking on the role of Coco Chanel herself in Lagerfeld’s short biopic “Once Upon a Time…” the pairing seems as natural as Anne Hathaway and Valentino for her big day last year.

According to The New York Post, the Anna Karenina actress is set to walk down the aisle as soon as this weekend in a small ceremony in the South of France but had no idea what she’d wear for her big day when asked in November. We’re guessing Lagerfeld must’ve fit in the design between putting the final touches on his Fall 2013 collection for the fashion house. If all pans out, we’re sure to see something exquisite!
