It’s a family affair as far as Kate Hudson’s concerned as she continues her role as Ann Taylor’s brand ambassador. Hudson is back in front of the camera for the women’s retailer’s fall 2013 campaign … posing with her nephews.
“My brother [Oliver Hudson] brings my nephews over to my house a lot and all the kids get along so well,” the actress said. “We have a very, very close family so for them to be here today and enjoy this process with me and to be able to see them on Madison Avenue in these pictures is going to be a lot of fun.”
… not to mention a very strategic move on Ann Taylor’s part. “The children will help bolster the season’s campaign theme, which centers on Hudson’s real-life role as a working mother while speaking to the brand’s target demographic of multitasking career women, Women’s Wear Daily is reporting.
The campaign’s tagline, “We live, work and play in the moment,” is illustrated with Hudson reading a pile of scripts, black marker ready to strike, navigating children’s toys as she leaves her home, and posing with her nephews in the kitchen as they mix a bowl of batter. You know, the typical working mother’s life. Also, not too far off of Hudson’s reality, in addition to being a mother and working actress, she’s been the face of the brand since 2012 and has designed a capsule collection for Ann Taylor.

We can expect to see the ads in the September glossies and the brand is asking women to share snapshots of their busy lives with the hashtag #chiclifestyle.
