StyleScoopAug12Kate Mara and her stylist/BFF Johnny Wujek have teamed up on a special New York Fashion Week project with H&M and Vogue that involves window styling. The fashion collaborating friends will be styling the window’s in the retailer’s Fifth Avenue store using the H&M Studio collection, which showed during Paris Fashion Week. Joe Zee’s to-do list just keeps getting longer, and his new role as the editor-in-chief of the upcoming Yahoo fashion site hasn’t even started yet. In addition to that position, Zee will serve as Old Navy’s style ambassador. He’ll style the ad campaigns, window displays, mailers and catalogs for the brand, as well as hosting online videos that feature Old Navy’s fall collection. [Fashionista]

Between her DKNY collaboration and starring role in a Roberto Cavalli campaign, Rita Ora is #unstoppable in the way of fashion. And the singer’s collaboration with Adidas, which launches on August 21, proves it even further. We were already anxiously awaiting the Adidas Originals by Rita Ora collection, and now there’s a teaser trailer that makes us even more excited to get our hands on such things as leather sports bras and floral sweatsuits. Botkier is bulking up. Monica Botkier is renaming her company Botkier New York following its 2013 acquisition by Tony Cheng, who serves as president of the company. The change in name reflects other changes in the company’s structure, including a new showroom, its first advertising campaign and a redesigned website. “Ideally, we’d love to expand into more of a lifestyle brand, but we don’t want to grow too fast too quick,” Cheng said. Botkier hopes that the brand will be global in the next five years. [Women’s Wear Daily]
