You know how the saying goes, once you win over Vogue, the world follows suit. Okay, so, maybe that isn’t really a saying but Kate Upton is definitely winning over the fashion industry right now. First Vogue and now, Elle, her very first September issue.
Inside the glossy, she opens up about that other first cover–Sports Illustrated. “I felt terrible about myself for a solid month,” the blonde bombshell said. “Every single guy I met was either married or about to get married and I felt like I was like his bachelor present or something. I’m not a toy, I’m a human. I’m not here to be used. I am a grown woman.”
The 5-foot-10-model looks stunning on the cover in a fitted red neoprene dress, loads of gold jewelry from Lanvin and David Yurman, her red nails framing her face showing off her deep part and loose waves. Around her neck are baubles that read cool and happy, which totally fit.
We’re happy she’s Elle’s cover girl too. She’s a grown woman… and she can do whatever she wants!
