A little bit of attention is nothing new to Kate Upton. After all, ever since her now infamous Dougie video, the model’s appeared on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, graced the initial cover of Carine Roitfeld’s new magazine, landed two editorials in Vogue, and nabbed her first Vogue Italia cover.
However, as the football season comes to a close, Upton’s set to receive a wealth of new attention. The much talked about model is set to appear in a Mercedes Benz commercial, showing “a tongue-in-cheek depiction of how far a person might — or might not — go to get their heart’s desire.” Upton will appear alongside Usher, playing the object of desire – shocking, we know – in the 60 second ad. Given the sheer volume of people who watch the Superbowl solely for the commercials, Upton’s about to enjoy a touchdown when it comes to growing her audience and fan base.
