Kiehl’s Crafts A Comic with Marvel

By  June 03, 2013

I’m a sucker when it comes to superheroes (Iron Man, anyone?). So my inner fangirl exploded with excitement after discovering Kiehl’s has partnered with Marvel Custom Solutions to create limited edition comic book with Captain America – all in honor of its new Facial Fuel “Heavy Lifting” Anti-Wrinkle Moisturizer for Men.

Set in the brand’s historic New York Flagship store in the East Village, the action-packed adventure weaves the brand’s history with familiar faces. In the tale, the Captain battles Cobra, who’s out to steal the secret artifacts that transformed the super soldier.

Superheroes have been incorporated in the fashion and beauty world for a while now. Iron Man appeared alongside Project Runway’s Tim Gunn to launch the miniseries Models Inc. in 2009. Wonder Woman (who is part of DC, not Marvel) has not only received her own MAC collection, but she also helped Diane Von Furstenberg with her holiday collection in 2008, appearing alongside the designer in The Adventures of Diva, Viva & Fifa.

Sorry boys, but I’m getting my hands on this issue before you do when the comic hits shelves June 4th!
