The black-and-white-with-color-all-over portrait was shot by Craig McDean, featuring a topless Stewart covered in vibrant blooms that will hit newstands starting in October. The fragrance itself – available at Nordstrom for $100 – is based on an experimental rose. It has notes of wild mint, Turkish rose essence, vetiver and white amber. Balenciaga’s signature element of black and white stripes is found on the bottle and beautifully reflected in Stewart’s portrait.
Tasteful with a bit of edge, we’re on board with this campaign – we don’t blame K-Stew for going topless for a powerhouse like Balenciaga, either.
