Though she first rocked a cubic headpiece in the opening lines of the tune, she quickly removed it to reveal a wig cap which she sported on the single’s cover art and video with Inez & Vinoodh. From there she’s switched into a bob wig with costuming from her Fame era, before swapping it for a bright yellow one reminiscent of the ones she sported in “Telephone,” smearing her vibrant harlequin paint on her face along the way.
In total, Mother Monster achieved six wardrobe throughout the 4-minute performance – all without missing a beat as she emerged in the eye-catching seashell bikini and mermaid waves from the single’s video and one of her V Magazine covers. Leave it to the pop star to bring a big dose of beauty and art to the stage in Brooklyn, but we might have caught a little wig whiplash along the way. What did you think of her performance?
