Lea Michele joined Valspar Paint and Habitat for Humanity to kickoff the Valspar Hands for Habitat initiative. Colorful handprints of celebrities like Susan Sarandon, Joan Rivers, Lauren Conrad, Ivanka Trump, Harrison Ford, Andy Cohen, as well as fashion faves Cynthia Rowley, Tory Burch, and Hilary Rhoda are all up for auction to help the organization. The premium paint brand donated $1,000 for each handprint that was submitted for the auction, and proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity’s response programs, which provide immediate and long-term response and solutions to natural disasters. Michele was glad to help lend her voice – and hands – to a worthy cause.
“I’ve always loved Habitat for Humanity and all the work that they do,” she said. “And when they approached me to get my handprint, I just thought it was such a fun, interactive, and great way to take a couple of minutes and be able to do something for somebody.”
