The 27-year-old “new queen of comedy” is rocking red polka dots and a shorter, edgier do for her first Vogue cover. Dunham shared the news Wednesday morning on Twitter: “Dear @voguemagazine: Thank you. Love, Lena,” with a link to her cover story on the glossy’s website.
To say that this might have been one of the worst kept secrets would be an understatement, but we’re glad to see the creator of HBO’s hit Girls, the voice of her generation—or at least, the voice of a generation—getting quirky with the fashion bible.
