#LFW: The Fabulously Fantastic Mrs. Fox at Mulberry AW11

If Fantastic Mr. Fox‘s wife were a young and stylish dame (ahem—a human dame, obviously), we’re absolutely certain she’d be dressed from head-to-toe in Mulberry‘s Fall 2011 offering. Has English countryside style ever looked this chic?

Perfect for the country girl living a luxe life in the big city, the AW11 collection was chock full of soft sumptuous fabrics and vibrant autumnal hues, like marigold, cognac, raspberry, grape, and olive, in addition to the expected cream, gray, khaki, butterscotch, rust, and black. Sleek wooden wedges worn with slouched knee socks were topped off with metallic evening dresses, brocade minis, fur vests, fluid floor-skimming skirts, and a variety of sharp, smart overcoats. And lest we forget, Mulberry also unveiled their newest ‘It’ bags. Stash your Bayswater and your Alexa, the Taylor and the Carter are a-coming.
