Looks We Love: Easy Styles for a Good Hair Day

We’ve all had those days: You wake up and your hair just won’t cooperate. Doesn’t this always seem to happen on mornings you overslept? We’re here with three easy hairstyles for every hair type—and you can create them in less than 10 minutes!

Curly Hair
Try an effortless updo! Textured hair looks fabulous when gathered up high and secured into a bun. For long hair, pull hair into a high ponytail. Tease your curls with your fingers to give them volume. Grab the ponytail and wrap it around the base of your pony, securing with either another hairband or a few bobby pins, depending on the thickness of your strands. If you hair is short, this style also works by gathering your hair to the nape of your neck in a low bun and securing with an elastic. Or if your curls are long and loose, leave hair in a pony and pull to the side.

Wavy Hair
Try a cute braid to mask messy hair. This style looks best on medium to long hair. Create a straight part and grab a three-inch section of hair on the right side. Loosely braid and secure with an elastic. Repeat on the other side. Grab both braids and secure under the braids at the back of your head with four bobby pins. Spritz a bit of hairspray on the braids to keep them from unraveling.

Straight Hair
This style looks best on medium to long hair, and the headband keeps the look polished. Brush hair to get rid of any tangles. Smooth hair into a low pony and secure with an elastic. Grab one section of the pony and wrap it around the elastic to hide the hairband. Tuck into the elastic or secure with a bobby pin. Add a thin headband (we’re loving gold and navy for fall) and you’re good to go!
