Louis Vuitton is making a monogrammed mark on your coffee table this fall with a photography book of epic proportions. Louis Vuitton Fashion Photography is an album that brings together nearly 200 images by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Henry Clarke, Patrick Demarchelier, Annie Leibovitz, Peter Lindbergh, Craig McDean, Steven Meisel, Helmut Newton, Juergen Teller, Mario Testino, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. The book features everything from Louis Vuitton products to advertising campaigns to fashion articles from the 50s to present day. It’s divided into three main sections, each of which has an introduction by photography writer and curator Charlotte Cotton: fashion articles since 1977, Louis Vuitton ad campaigns and flashback to the fifties. The limited-edition work features a white canvas cover with one of three photographs. It will be available starting October 1 (in English and French, of course), in select Louis Vuitton stores and at louisvuitton.com for $130.
