Charlize Theron didn’t disappoint when she climbed the stairs of the Met in a black and white Dior gown, befitting of the Gala’s theme this year. In such a chic statement dress, she kept the rest of her look subdued yet sultry thanks to stylist Enzo Angileri and Pati Dubrof, who shared the how we could recreate the look for our next stylish soiree:
Opting for a blend of romance and edge, Angileri started with a clean slate care of Davines NouNou Shampoo and conditioner before applying a generous amount of This Is a Volume Boosting Mousse. He then blow dried the hair with a medium round brush and straightened out her natural curl just a bit. Once dry, he added texture by warming the This Is a Medium Hold Finishing Gum in the palms of his hands before working the product into tresses to make it look like it was captured by the wind, pulling it into a bun. For added shine, he added a drop of Davines OI Beautifying Oil to the ends and sealed the style with a blast of the This Is An Invisible No Gas Spray.
Dubroff kept it clean by evening the tone with Dior’s Dreamskin Perfect Skin Creator. She added softeness to the eye with the Fusion Mono Eyeshadow in Cosmos before adding layer upon layer of the new It-Lash Mascara in It-Black. She added a plushness to the lips with a swipe of the Rouge Dior Lipstick in Swan before ensuring her limbs were soft with a few drops of the J’adore Dior Dry Silky Body Oil.
