#MFW: Wet ‘n Wild Wavy Manes at Roberto Cavalli AW11

Fact: We love laissez faire hair. Like, love. And any girl that can pull off simulated soaking wet locks is a girl after our own hearts.

“The girls look like they’ve just stepped right out of the shower,” says Guido, Creative Consultant for Redken and lead hairstylist for the Roberto Cavalli Fall 2011 runway show, noting that the look was ‘sexy and sophisticated—easy, but with that classic Cavalli attitude.’

To mimic the model’s manes, start with damp hair and insert a clean deep center part. Liberally palm Redken Hardwear 16 Super Strong Gel from roots-to-ends, and rake your fingers through to separate strands. Lastly, allow hair to air dry. Your locks will stay seemingly wet and super shiny for the day, without drying too hard and crunchy. (Don’t you just hate that?!)
